Ladies Underwear

Female underpants come in a variety of styles. A thong is the most daring style. It provides coverage at the crotch with a thin strap at the back. Once worn by models to make panty lines undetectable, the thong has now made inroads into mainstream fashion. There are several types of thongs: G-Strings are all string and no cloth, and hence do not provide coverage; Tangas have a modest seat; T-Backs form a ?T? shape in the user?s back; while Rio has straps on the sides.

For those who find thongs too provocative, low-rise hipsters are a good option as they provide more coverage but are just as attractive. Hipsters work well for women with a flabby stomach. They are cut like shorts and are low rise. The difference between hipsters and shorts is that shorts have a leg while hipsters are cut off the thigh. Women with heavy hips should wear deep-sided briefs, as they do not reveal much skin. The drawback in this style is that the panty lines are starkly visible if worn under tight clothing. High-rise briefs come up to the belly button, have a full seat, and reach down to the thighs. These are the most conservative underwear, as well as the most comfortable.

There are several kinds of brassieres. A strapless brassiere is preferable when worn under a dress that has a low or wide neckline or slender straps. The most resourceful brassiere is one with removable straps that can be made into a crisscross or halter brassiere. A good brassiere provides support and accentuates the cleavage.

Apart from different styles, female underwear is also available in a range of colors and patterns. Black, white, red, and ivory are popular colors, while animal and floral prints are bestsellers, although underwear is basically about personal preferences.
